Lane closures to Jim Miller Road to begin Jan. 25 and continue through Feb. 2024

January 24, 2024 - The public is advised that the far-right lane on Jim Miller Road will be closed from Thursday, January 25, and will remain closed through the end of February 2024, to allow the project team and Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) to proceed with improvements to the Jim Miller Pump Station. The lane closure is necessary to ensure public safety while construction crews replace valves that will help DWU continue delivering safe and reliable water services to customers.

Please follow construction signage and refer to the traffic plan below for more information.

During this time, Showbend Lane may also be closed periodically. Residents who normally access Jim Miller Road via Showbend Lane may avoid this road closure by taking Everglade Road. A portion of the sidewalk at the corner of Jim Miller Road and Showbend Lane will also be closed during this time.
